The Tree of Life

The Tree of Life is the complex energy matrix which is you.  This integrated, highly advanced energetic system holds the Life Force (your Inner Self) within the human form. It holds the Life Force within this mechanism over many lifetimes, creating the structure through which your consciousness experiences material reality. The Tree of Life is not merely a concept, but a living, dynamic energy field that encompasses your total existence.

The Tree of Life governs every thought through the causal chains established by your past thoughts and emotions. It contains the fundamental keys to existence itself controlling every aspect of your lived experience.

Your perception of reality is directly influenced by your energetic awareness. Those who remain bound by deep emotional reactions experience a fundamentally different reality than those who have balanced their emotions and awakened their Life Force through consistent meditation practice. Material reality exists within the narrow confines of your five physical senses – sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell. When you rely solely on these limited sensory inputs, your understanding of true reality remains severely restricted.

To comprehend the Tree of Life is to know creation in its deepest essence – this is the revered wisdom; the beard of the prophets revealed. When you awaken to this understanding, your cosmic connection becomes evident and accessible.

Consider how limited your physical perception truly is: you see only a tiny fraction of the light spectrum, hear within a narrow range of frequencies, and process sensory information through emotional filters that distort reality. When you gaze at the night sky with your unaided eyes, you perceive only distant points of light. This represents your unawakened reality. However, when you expand your awareness through technological tools like telescopes, you begin to glimpse the true magnificence and vastness of the cosmos.

Similarly, while the average person might expand their understanding of material reality through external tools, the conscious seeker expands their perception through inner techniques, such as meditation, cognition, and illumement – awakening the inner lens of their Life Force. Through this expanded consciousness, they perceive not just the surface appearance of reality but its fundamental essence.

The Tree of Life encompasses every aspect of your multidimensional being. It is not limited to your ethereal or aether body but includes your entire human mechanism: the emotional form (astral body), the mental form, and the physical form. Understanding this complete energetic structure reveals creation itself and illuminates your cosmic connection.

The Tree of Life exists as an energetic structure that envelops your being and extends beyond your physical body. This ethereal blueprint within creation functions similarly to a craftsman’s mould used to create a figurine. At conception, the energetic template of your Tree of Life is precisely calibrated to accommodate the specific karmic aspects that your individual Life Force must confront within your current life cycle. It is the mechanism which serves as both your challenge and your opportunity. It is the energetic prison that confines you, yet also the vehicle through which you may increase or decrease your karmic burden based on the decisions, actions, and thoughts you generate throughout your material existence.

The structure of the Tree of Life integrates several component parts of the human mechanism. The astral emotional body forms the outer shell, connecting through the Aether (ethereal) body to both the physical and mental bodies. Each of these bodies, except for the physical form, vibrates at different wavelengths beyond ordinary perception. Each body contains an intricate structure of energy centres and connecting lines of force throughout its system.

The Tree of Life represents the inner workings of your entire mechanism – your means of experiencing life and progressing through human existence. It exists as a framework of interconnecting bodies operating across different wavelengths of matter. This integrated framework allows information and energies to flow between these bodies creating instantaneous emotional reactions following a thought, visual input, auditory stimulus, or other sensory experiences.

The Tree of Life while operating within the Aether Form, operates within a far higher state of vibration than any of the normal human senses can perceive while remaining separate and distinct from the structure of the Aether Form itself. The Tree of Life correlates strongly with the energy centres and lines of force that interconnect throughout your entire Aether Form.

The Tree of Life influences your being through three distinct pillars and three crosses of energy flow. These pillars are defined separately because each affects different aspects of your energetic mechanism. Each pillar flows from the lower to the higher centres, creating specific effects on your consciousness and presenting challenges unique to each centre.

The Mutable Cross Centres influence you through karmic challenges and your reactions to life experiences. They teach you to face material realities without emotional attachment, developing inner balance and calmness while avoiding wishful thinking or illusionary concepts of happiness.

The Fixed Cross Centres influence you in a way in which you realise self-centredness is not happiness. You are presented with the opportunity to replace desire for possessions and cravings with selflessness and compassion for others.

The Cardinal Cross Centres bring the full realisation that life and experiences are ultimately illusory, guiding you toward living in harmony with all existence.

As you evolve through the Tree of Life many stages of change do not take place sequentially as you would expect one after another. Each aspect affects you gradually through the three crosses.  You cannot think of the Mutable Cross as being the first or the Cardinal Cross being the last which you must progress through. The chances are that as you progress through each pillar, they take different routes via different centres within the tree.  The three pillars are the coordination of negative or positive energies as they flow up through the Aether (ethereal) body. Even though they are called pillars, they do not flow up in straight lines but flow through the Aether (ethereal) channels equal to the negative and positive centres.

Within the Tree of Life, negative energy vibrations manifest on the left side, positive energy vibrations on the right, and neutral vibrations through the centre of the tree. This structure functions like a bar magnet in an electrical generator, creating the necessary polarities for energy flow.

When you incarnate as a male of the human species onto this planet, your energies are encoded with electric aspects and positive components. Your first pillar of spiritual development is of the opposite polarity and aligns with the magnetic aspect and negative components. After progressing through the negative pillar, you become receptive to wisdom. Through advancement up the positive pillar, you become open to the knowledge of knowing. However, many males face significant challenges when attempting to progress energies through the throat area, as these energies can amplify egoic tendencies and falsely delay genuine progress.

While a Life Force incarnating as a female of the human species onto this planet, your energies are encoded with magnetic aspects and negative components. Your first pillar of spiritual development aligns with the opposite polarity with the electric aspect and positive components. After progressing through the first positive pillar, you become open to the knowledge of ‘I know’. Through advancement up the negative pillar, you become open to wisdom. However, many females encounter challenges when progressing energies through the head area, particularly regarding the third eye, as these energies can amplify prophetic tendencies and delay authentic progress.

Through the left (negative) pillar, energies begin influencing aspects of introspection via the Mutable Cross. As energies flow upward through the sacral area, intuition emerges through the Cardinal Cross. Continuing upward to the solar plexus, the Mutable Cross activates reasoning abilities. At the heart centre, the Fixed Cross awakens an understanding of love through Life Force memory. As energies reach the throat area, the Cardinal Cross facilitates perception and wisdom.

Through the right (positive) pillar, energies begin influencing circulation via the Mutable Cross. Flowing upward to the navel centre, the Fixed Cross activates attachment. At the spleen centre, the Cardinal Cross facilitates absorption. Reaching the third eye, the Cardinal Cross enhances perception and feeling. Finally, at the crown, the Mutable Cross connects to all emotions.

Through the middle pillar, energies progress through all thirteen constellations, balancing all human emotions and ultimately releasing you to continue your journey of return.

Each constellation contains negative, positive, and neutral aspects, whether relating to earth, fire, air, or water elements. What they represent to the positive is the potential you can bring forward with a one-pointedness of thought and direction. To the negative, this impacts the balance of your thoughts and emotions which can present significant challenges. Every constellation and planet serves a specific purpose within life’s complete framework, progressively transforming each aspect into harmonious rhythms of sound and energy vibration. Each influence gradually changes aspects of your character, returning to lower centres repeatedly until all centres achieve complete clarity.

There are many challenges as the energies of your Life Force awaken and light up the energy centres as part of the Tree of Life. Theoretical understanding is valuable, but experiential knowledge is essential. As you walk the path of spiritual awakening, you will encounter increasing karmic confrontations; this is learning through the courage of self and humanity.

As your Life Force awakens within, it is imperative that you DO NOT force any aspect of the awakening of the Tree of Life within. Doing so can release energies into parts of the body which are not yet balanced or adjusted for the energies. This can lead very quickly to mental imbalances and physical and emotional issues in life.  In some cases, these imbalances can dramatically affect the Life Force and have significant implications for the process of reincarnation leading to many aspects of mental and physical disabilities due to damage to the Aether form. It is the Aether body which forms the mould for other component parts of the human form.  This is a key reason why The Life Force Institute strongly recommends an approach to understanding and balancing your thoughts and emotions, as well as your reactions, as the first step on your awakening journey rather than concentrating on your energy centres.

The Kabbalistic Tradition

The Tree of Life features prominently in both Kabbalistic and Hermetic traditions. True Kabbalah means transitioning from material existence into spiritual growth and achieving the knowledge that, at the moment of physical death, you re-enter your authentic state of being without fear.

Language forms the key to Kabbalistic understanding. The Greek alphabet contains specific vibrational levels, with the vowels representing key points of your life’s representation within creation. These vowels always direct colour and sound.

Many seekers have consulted published works on Kabbalah, which contain partial clues to creation’s reality, but the essential knowledge remains hidden. Some texts discuss energy centres or chakras without explaining their function. Others describe colours and sounds within creation, but lack practical application methods. Some write about constellations and planets without understanding how their energies affect us. Others describe elemental forces but offer no mastery techniques. Still, others detail human components without explaining their cause-and-effect relationships.

All these aspects belong to true Kabbalah – the complete story of creation, its vastness and expansion, its correspondences, humanity’s place within the cosmic framework, and the realisation of how individuals are created. It reveals the energies that generate illusions and the forces that confine you within material existence. From the moment of incarnation, we are all contained within creation’s structure. True Kabbalah holds all the keys to this creation.

Because of this lack of knowledge, the progression which could be reached by many within a much shorter period is not realised or achieved. Because of this gross materialism, without balance and harmony, sickness and unhappiness are widespread throughout humans. The prime reason is, human beings do not understand the vehicle they live in.

Everything within creation is based upon specific laws of cause and effect. These laws of cause and effect take place continually within our lives, but we do not realise the consequences on our health, happiness, or development.

The fundamental challenge is that most people relate only to themselves. Every aspect of life, every action, and every thought becomes programmed into the cause-and-effect matrix. When you violate a rule established by the cosmic hierarchy, cause and effect inevitably follow. There are no exceptions – only right or wrong. When cosmic law is broken, the entire system activates to create the corresponding effect. This may manifest immediately, after a decade, in your current life, or even in your children’s lives.

By understanding and working with the Tree of Life, you begin to align with these cosmic laws, gradually transforming your consciousness and evolving toward your authentic state of being.
