Be Aware of your Choices

No matter what is going on in your life, you can still choose to be aware and mindful. It is all about choices – you have the power within you to choose how to respond, rather than reacting. The power is within your grasp; pausing your mind provides the opportunity for silences and active intellect to take charge. You can then make informed decisions on how to react to any situation in your life.

Become your own Influencer

How often do you scroll through Instagram or your Facebook feed, looking at the picturesque snippets of other peoples lives? You may flick through glossy magazines and view TV, wondering how the other people get to have the perfect body, fantastic homes or seemingly enviable lives. Increasingly it is becoming easy to be swamped in your insecurities, fears, wants or desires as you compare your life to the world of others.

Take the time to become your own life influencer as you expouse the thought that “I am enough”. Building this thought within you can give you a sense of calm and happiness allowing you to change the direction of your life for the better. Take the opportunity to make it into a mantra, which you repeat every morning or even throughout the day, until it sinks in and your mind accepts it. As you allow this positive aspect to build within your life, you will begin to discover that many things are your own source of happiness. With ongoing positive reinforcement as your own influencer, you can begin to experience that “I am enough, I have enough, I have always been enough and I always will be enough.”

Divert your Brainpower

A significant amount of many people’s brainpower is overinvested in worry and concern. Knowing how powerful your mind is, you have the capacity to bring about some change in your life. It will take practice and perseverance; however, thinking anything will occur can be a significant step towards making it happen.

Make an effort to divert some of your mental capacity to evoke more favourable changes in life. Focus on what feels good and find a task that occupies your mind to take the body out of its cycle of negative or disruptive thought.

Apply your Intellect

As individuals, each of us differs from one another in our ability to understand complex ideas, to adapt effectively to our environment, to learn from experience and to engage in various forms of reasoning through the application of active intelligence. These differences are never entirely consistent, as your intellectual capabilities will vary on different occasions and in different aspects of your life.

A Perspective on Ontology

Our posts and information focus on the work relating to you as an individual, rather than to become enthralled in aspects of ontology. This allows you as the student, to comprehend how you function as an energy being and the steps which can be taken, as an individual, to progress and awaken your Life Force.

Oneness with Life Force Meditation

In the simplest form, meditation can be stated as being at one. Through learning to bring quietness to your mind and silencing the endless noise of your thoughts, emotions and feelings, gradually the essence of your true self, the Life Force, begins to emerge. The light of your Life Force, the true self within all people, is hidden behind barriers of material thoughts, emotions and feelings which have been built up by your mind and persona. Through an open, peaceful and quiet mind, this light of your Life Force can be awakened through various Life Force meditation techniques.

Your True Nature

I wish you could witness your own true nature. Beyond the bounds of memory and the confines of ego, there is a profusion of awareness and empathy. Past the perceptions, assumptions and stereotypes, there is a vista of openness and veritableness.

Living Life on Autopilot

As life becomes busier, it is often easy to lose track of what you did from one week to the next. Moving through life on autopilot may seem like an effective way to get things done, but often you are just carrying out daily tasks. Take a moment to disengage the autopilot and pause at least once a day, to experience the moment and wonder of life. Then you will find that life can become more meaningful and you will experience the simple everyday moments that make life beautiful.

Spiritual Gratitude

At the most basic, gratitude is something almost everyone has experienced, and have recognised the warmth of good things which can take place in their lives. While basic gratitude is a collection of ever-changing and fleeting feelings, the deeper aspect of gratitude is based on action, not merely experienced but expressed. This kind of gratitude is practised not just because it feels good, but because it is the appropriate thing to do; not just for one’s own good, but for the good of others or society. Such gratitude outdistances the domain of simple emotions and instead develops as a mindset, a stance, and a philosophy.

This practice of gratitude brings forth a myriad of tangible benefits to the mind and body. Research has revealed that practising gratitude improves the body’s immune system, boosts resilience to stress and anxiety, reduces depression, helps to improves one’s energies, and even aids you to sleep much better. The reasons to purposely practice this deeper form of gratitude, radiates over and above these corporeal effects, to those that embrace your inner self.

Awareness is Enlightening

Pay your attention to all things in life, they are more important than you may realise. As you give more focus to each passing moment, life will no longer seem to be passing you by. You can use the period of introspection to increase your awareness of your inner self and lead to your own enlightenment.

When Ritual Reigns

Ritual can take over if the essence of your true self is forgotten. Our outward appearances can come to be more important than our inner experience when ritual reigns and dominates the spiritual practice. For instance, if you practice meditation in the hope of enlightenment, how much time, and with whom you meditate, should not be the driving imperative. It is actually more important how your meditation or spiritual practise has allowed you to reach within to your inner self. The greatest value is understanding how your spiritual practice has enabled you to change your heart and transform your thoughts and feelings to those people around you. Always strive to reconnect to your inner self in your spiritual endeavours, allowing you to transform your thoughts and bring to light authentic awakening

More to Thinking

The human brain is comprised of roughly one hundred billion neurones, which are thereupon interconnected by trillions of connections, called synapses. Each of these associations may be relaying between one and a thousand transmissions per second, to fabricate the process which we equate to as thoughts or ideas in the physical brain.

To fully comprehend your thinking, it is necessary to appreciate that the human brain is just part of a complex system which entails the entire cognitive form.  Your thoughts become manifest, not merely as electrochemical connections of the brain, but also as electromagnetic impulses. Some cognitive scientists have started to acknowledge that thoughts are not confined to the brain, but concurrently occur in the body as well as the brain. It is this electromagnetic nature of thoughts and ideas, which enable them to spread through the brain, the body and the environment around us.

Knowing your Mind

We know the world around us through the window of our own mind. When your mind is noisy or irritating, then you will perceive the world around you to be the same. When your mind is calm, the world around you will be seen as more serene or tranquil. Knowing and understanding your mind is one of the most important aspects in your life, and is just as important as attempting to change the world around you.

Year for Change

One thing which is certain in the world is that change is inescapable. The quicker you recognise that changes transpire as an intrinsic and healthy part of life, the more fluidly and in harmony, your life will likely unfurl. A beneficial lesson, which can be grasped on life’s journey, is that you are much better and wiser to take control of your life and circumstances.  Recognise when it is time to make favourable adjustments, and afterwards, proactively make that change take place for yourself.

Product of your Thoughts

We as human beings are the product of our own thoughts. Our thoughts create the basis of our emotions, feelings and actions or responses. For every single thought or action, there is a reaction or consequence. This is quite comparable to the observations made by Newton when he detailed his third law of motion; to every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. When you think, your thoughts are formed of energy, and these energies can attract similar energies which can magnify your preliminary thought. Your thoughts influence not only your life, but the world around you and in effect, you become what you think.
