Everyday Kindness

Kindness is greater than merely an elementary word or a disposable expression. The real intent of kindness is manifest by means of your thoughts and actions every single day. Kindness is personified with the inner countenances of harmlessness, which can aid you to re-establish the balance in your life and redress the karma we all carry. Come to be that individual of true and unquestionable kindness to expand happiness and no hurt into the world around you.

Not my Goggle Box

Increasingly the thoughts of many people are being affected by external sources such as reality TV, and influencers on social media. Every day millions of us are being bombarded by messages, images and videos from these various sources. It is becoming normal that people accept what they see or hear without questioning its content or validity to their own lives. On acceptance, it can then become integrated into your own programmed thinking.

Realise how you can react to situations or events with the programmed thinking which was manufactured for mass consumption. Make the smart choice to not act as if you were participating in an episode of Goggle box. Break free from this social conditioning to be your own life influencer.

Focus on Change

Many times in life, we are distracted by things that upset us, cause worry or tension. If you were to closely examine your life, you would find many aspects appear to be out of your control. However, many people continue to try to change these seemingly immovable things in life.

To bring about some true and meaningful change, focus your intentions on the things in life which you can change, rather than dwelling on what apparently is out of your control.

Be Mindful All Day

Mindfulness can be applied almost anytime and anywhere, be that standing in a queue, sitting at your desk or carrying out household tasks. You can apply aspects of mindfulness through your breathing or observation of sensations in your body.

Mindfulness at its most basic principle is becoming aware, though few of us have considered the winder context this implies. As you work to apply Mindfulness all day, take the opportunity to grow your experience. As you can become aware of your breathing or sensations in your body, you can progress to become aware of your own thoughts. As you increase your awareness, observe how your thoughts arise within your mind and how your reactions can lead to seemingly unconscious thoughts. The more that you become aware of all aspects of your life, the more profound your mindfulness experiences will be.

Your Spark of Life

Your Spark of Life is the true unemotional component within you. It is an omnipresent force within you, representing the seed of creative energy of the cosmos. Within many ancient writings, it has been described as the capability of Gods within. Such writings have been referring to your creative Spark of Life within, which means that you are a creative being. However, you need to take this in the context that you are an energy being. Expressed more simply, you are part of the Universal Presence manifesting within material life.

Divert your Brainpower

A significant amount of many people’s brainpower is overinvested in worry and concern. Knowing how powerful your mind is, you have the capacity to bring about some change in your life. It will take practice and perseverance; however, thinking anything will occur can be a significant step towards making it happen.

Make an effort to divert some of your mental capacity to evoke more favourable changes in life. Focus on what feels good and find a task that occupies your mind to take the body out of its cycle of negative or disruptive thought.

Witness Five Planets in the Sky at Once

It is a rare and amazing opportunity to be able to see all five of these bright planets in the sky simultaneously. They will also be in the correct order outward from the Sun, starting with Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and ending with Saturn. The event last occurred in December 2004, but it was only visible in certain tropical areas.

You can see the Northern Sky as viewed at 5 am in London or you can see the Southern Sky as viewed at 7 am in Brisbane and zoom in to see the locations of Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn as they align in the true astronomical locations for the Zodiac.

The display will be visible until early July, so unless you experience an unbelievable string of bad weather, you should be able to view the amazing display. Light pollution is a potential, although likely minor issue. The best conditions are clear, dark skies but luckily, these are all bright, naked-eye objects so you should be able to see the line-up even from the city.

If you have a pair of binoculars or a telescope, point them at the planets and moon (but never the sun). With even a small telescope, or binoculars on a tripod, you can see Jupiter’s largest 4 moons and Saturn’s rings. If you are in a dark enough location with a small telescope, you might also be able to see the atmospheric bands in Jupiter’s atmosphere.

Do not Feed Detrimental Emotions

It is important that you must learn to master your thoughts and emotions and not just try to suppress or bury them. In the process of mastering your thoughts and emotions, it is important to observe or be aware of that aspect within you. As soon as you acknowledge or observe their presence, then you should strive to remove those unwanted aspects from within or around you. Get rid of any detrimental thought or emotion – do not feed it by dwelling on the matter. This should be your motto to help you master your thoughts.

Spiritual Gratitude

At the most basic, gratitude is something almost everyone has experienced, and have recognised the warmth of good things which can take place in their lives. While basic gratitude is a collection of ever-changing and fleeting feelings, the deeper aspect of gratitude is based on action, not merely experienced but expressed. This kind of gratitude is practised not just because it feels good, but because it is the appropriate thing to do; not just for one’s own good, but for the good of others or society. Such gratitude outdistances the domain of simple emotions and instead develops as a mindset, a stance, and a philosophy.

This practice of gratitude brings forth a myriad of tangible benefits to the mind and body. Research has revealed that practising gratitude improves the body’s immune system, boosts resilience to stress and anxiety, reduces depression, helps to improves one’s energies, and even aids you to sleep much better. The reasons to purposely practice this deeper form of gratitude, radiates over and above these corporeal effects, to those that embrace your inner self.

Lessons of Life

It is commonly stated that life teaches us through our mistakes. When you slip up, simply ask yourself what you were destined to learn, as opposed to searching for justifications or to find others to blame. We grow more from our mistakes, errors or blunders when we recognise and accept such lessons with humility and grace.

Year for Change

One thing which is certain in the world is that change is inescapable. The quicker you recognise that changes transpire as an intrinsic and healthy part of life, the more fluidly and in harmony, your life will likely unfurl. A beneficial lesson, which can be grasped on life’s journey, is that you are much better and wiser to take control of your life and circumstances.  Recognise when it is time to make favourable adjustments, and afterwards, proactively make that change take place for yourself.

Quelling Karma

Karma in its simplest manifestation is the principle of cause and effect, implying the consequences which emerge out of any thought or action. There is only one infallible means to quell Karma, which is to be proactive in your thoughts and actions to minimize the cycle of cause and effect. Each and every moment you should strive to be aware of the possible effects or ramifications of your thoughts, actions, or inactions at any point in time. Instead of instantly reacting to life, pause to consider your various courses of action, prior to proceeding. This judicious application of containment can help you to quell Karma and lead a more balanced life.

Everything is Connected

When two things take place successively we call them cause and effect, if we think one event made the other one take place. We call it a reaction if we believe one event is the response to the other. If we perceive that two incidents are unrelated, we call it a mere coincidence. If we believe somebody deserved what took place, we call it retaliation or reward, depending upon whether the event was adverse or favourable for the recipient. If we cannot discover a factor for both events happening in close proximity, we call it an accident. Ponder for a moment, that everything is connected so that events produce ripples of effect.

Higher Frequency Emotions

In and of itself, emotions themselves are neutral, being formed of energy. The coarser, or what some would term negative emotions resonate at lower frequencies. What you think of as emotion is actually the experience of energy moving through your physical body. We experience emotion as energy frequencies and their correlating physical sensations in the body. Feelings are the interpretation and labels we apply to the experience of emotion, such as happy or sad. Take the time to shift the frequency of your emotions to a higher energy frequency, bringing more positivity into your life.

Good Vibrations

The practice of beaming kindness and productive thoughts into your environment raises your capacity to be kind and to improve our own quality of living. Make an effort to direct some good vibes out into the world around you with the very same energy & compassion equal to how you would like your world to be.
